Neurodivergence can be a sneaky thing to identify in women, especially women of a certain age. The NIH reports that 50-70% of individuals with autism spectrum disorder also meet criteria for ADHD. There is also a high prevalence of chronic illness among neurodivergent individuals, as well as the highly sensitive trait. You need a professional who can see through the mask and get to the heart of your experience. My assessments provide validation, clarity, and understanding.
An accurate diagnosis can be empowering and provide a lot of answers about what you've been experiencing and help you let go of negative self talk. Undiagnosed neurodivergent folks often think they're lazy or weird and wonder why they can't just get it together like other people. Having an accurate diagnosis can help you start to understand your brain, learn strategies to deal, and help you live an all around happier life. If you are concerned with stigma or creating a paper trail, take heart in knowing that I do not work with insurance companies, therefore you are the only one that can decide how your diagnosis is shared - if it's shared at all.
To aid in full transparency, my assessments are legally and ethically valid, but they will not qualify you for government disability benefits and they do not guarantee you will be prescribed medication by a doctor. If these limitations are suitable for you, please check out the details below and I would be happy to discuss next steps with you.
Includes 1 hour clinical interview, review of self screening tools, and 1 hour feedback session with list of resources and recommendations if relevant. For personal use or confirmation of self diagnosis. May split into 2 payments if needed.
Includes 1 hour mental health evaluation and pre-assessment self screeners, in depth DIVA-5 or MIGDAS-2 assessment tool (this may take 1-3 meetings), 1 hour feedback session, plus documented summary of findings with recommendations and referrals. Option to add on accommodation letter for ($175). Appropriate for more complex cases, or if you're starting from scratch. May split into 2-3 payments if needed.
I do not provide lengthy reports. They are not usually necessary for the population I work with, and they drive up the price because they are very time consuming. Most clinicians charge between $2-$5K for this and have long waitlists. Instead, I provide a clinical summary of findings (2-5 pages).
1 hour to answer a few specific questions, or explore the pros and cons of getting assessed. Maybe you're self diagnosed, don't need or want a formal diagnosis at this point in your life, or maybe you've gotten a diagnosis but don't know how to move forward with this new aspect of your identity. May include referrals if relevant. This is a great option if you don't know where to start or don't want a paper trail.
The first step is to get a free consultation scheduled so that I can make sure I can meet your needs. Once we've determined we're a good fit, we will schedule your first appointment at least a week out so that you have time to complete the pre-assessment screening tools (if applicable).
